If you want your guitar to be easy to play. You should get it set up. A set also tell you the condition of the guitar and whether it needs any other maintenance.
Description
1. Lower strings as close to the fret board without them buzzing
2. Adjust international, so the guitar stays in tune as you play up the fret board
3. Adjust truss rod to suit your particular gauge of strings you have chosen to use
4. Adjust springs on tremolo to suit gauge of string and give you a semi tone of whammy ability!
5. Sometimes you might need to shim the neck, to change the angle.
6. Check all electronics,(pickup,pots,switches,sockets), Also check high frets, the Nut and general condition of guitar
7. Give it a clean
